As part of this course you'll be applying for Administration roles with one of our partners who are hiring right now! Successful applicants will:
Undertake administration functions for the department, such as data input, photocopying, filing, letter writing, etc.
Undertake accurate recording / inputting and amending of data within Trust information systems.
Communicate effectively with the use of tact and diplomacy, and seek to overcome barriers to effective communication. This may require the use of multiple communication methods, such as email, telephone, reception duties, etc.
Work collaboratively with the wider departmental team to ensure a consistent and effective Patient First service.
Actively use initiative within the role but seek guidance when required and appropriate.
Assist and support in the development and improvement of the service and in the implementation of Trust and Departmental policies and procedures.
Complete all mandatory training required by the Trust and actively participate in personal development.
Assist and support the development and training of new team members.
Undertake effective prioritisation of own workload and the coordination of activities / duties related to the role.
Adhere to all Trust and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
We do offer a Level 3 apprenticeship in Business Admin for anyone in employment; this is a great way for individuals to work their way up into higher banded roles once an individual secures a Band 2 roles.
Want an apprenticeship in the NHS? The Prince’s Trust is hosting a FREE 3-day online programme to give you the knowledge and skills needed to have the best chance at securing a Apprentice Clinical Support Worker role.
You’ll learn about the role, have the chance to speak with the employer during a Q&A, get support with your application and interview, plus access to a range of support upon completion of the programme. On the last day, you’ll interview for live Apprentice Clinical Support Worker vacancies!

If you want to get a job in the Ambulance Service then this course is perfect for you!
As part of this programme you will be able to get CPR certification and will be taught basic first aid, travel will be reimbursed, and lunch will be included.
Please note you will need to be available to travel to Leeds for the face-to-face programme.

Every other week we run a 2-hour introduction (access) session where your journey will start and from this point you can learn about the support and options available which include:
Financial support to help with the cost of equipment, further training, first month travel costs, clothing, etc
Dedicated 1:1 help and encourage you in your search for jobs, help you to apply and then then support you to be interview ready.
Access to monthly calendar(s) of a variety of short 2-hour sessions to support you learn, develop, and prepare for the sector which include: Application workshops, interview skills, resilience & wellbeing, CV workshops, Safeguarding, and much more.
